大東流合気柔術, 本部, Daito-ryu, Aiki-jujutsu

11月3日、文化の日。明治天皇の御誕生日にあたるこの日、明治神宮において、58流派、約400名の武道家が集い、日本古武道演武大会が盛大に開催されました。

私ども大東流合気柔術も、14名という大所帯で参加いたしました。

前日まで降り続いていた雨も上がり、当日は見事な秋晴れとなりました。これもひとえに、演武大会の成功を願う多くの武道家の思いが天に通じたものと感じます。

日頃の厳しい稽古で培った技と精神を、この神聖な演武の場で披露し、さらに昇華させる。

その思いを胸に、参加者一同、それぞれが持てる力を尽くし、精一杯の演武を奉納させていただきました。

また、当日は多くの門下生の皆様、そしてご家族の皆様にも応援にお越しいただきました。皆様の温かいご声援に、心より感謝申し上げます。

On November 3, Culture Day in Japan, which also marks the birthday of Emperor Meiji, the annual Nihon Kobudo Demonstration was held at Meiji Jingu Shrine, bringing together approximately 400 martial artists representing 58 traditional martial arts schools.

Our Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu group participated with a strong delegation of 14 members.

Although it had been raining until the previous day, the skies cleared beautifully for the event, blessing us with a magnificent autumn day. It felt as though the sincere wishes of the many martial artists hoping for a successful demonstration had been answered.

The purpose of such an occasion is not merely to demonstrate techniques, but to bring the skills and spirit cultivated through daily training to a higher level of refinement in the sacred setting of Meiji Jingu Shrine.

With this spirit in mind, each of our participants gave their very best, offering a sincere and wholehearted demonstration of Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many students and family members who came to support us. Your warm encouragement was deeply appreciated.
