日本の伝統武道や現代格闘技をテーマに、「技の本質」「強さの構造」「身体操作の極意」を深掘りする番組として制作されています。
武術の心得がある「武術翻訳家」岡田准一と、格闘技通のケンドーコバヤシがＭＣをつとめる、ＮＨＫの武術トークバラエティー「明鏡止水」。
一流の武術家たちが集結し、熱いトークと秘伝の技を披露します！
大好評『相撲』特集の第2弾をお届けします。
今回は“技の攻防”をテーマに、相撲の技に宿る強さの本質に迫ります。
角界からは、元大関 貴景勝の湊川親方が参戦。
さらに、武術の達人、レスリング金メダリスト、総合格闘家、そしてスポーツ界のレジェンドも登場し、それぞれの視点からひも解いていきます。

Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Hombu Dojo appeared on “Meikyo Shisui Bu no KAMIWAZA” (NHK General).
It will be aired on NHK General from 11pm on March 3.
It is produced as an intellectually engaging entertainment program that explores the essence of techniques, the structure of strength, and the principles of advanced body mechanics, with a focus on traditional Japanese martial arts and modern combat sports.
With the theme of modern martial arts, MCs Junichi Okada, who is also familiar with martial arts, and Kendo Kobayashi, a martial arts expert, will perform.
This is a program that features lively talk battles with various martial arts masters and athletes, along with demonstrations.
We’re bringing you the second installment of our hugely popular “Sumo” special.
This time, under the theme of “the clash of techniques,” we delve into the very essence of the strength embodied in sumo’s techniques.
Representing the world of professional sumo is former ōzeki Takakeishō, now Minatogawa-oyakata.
In addition, a master of traditional martial arts, an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling, a mixed martial artist, and a legendary figure from the world of sports will appear, each offering their own perspective as we unravel the subject.
