今年も靖国神社みたま祭りにおいて奉納演武を奉納させていただくことができました。

日本の平和と安寧のために尊い命を捧げられた二百四十六万六千余柱の御英霊に、深い感謝と追悼の誠を捧げ、その御前で謹んで奉納演武を行わせていただけることを、誠にありがたく、また身の引き締まる思いで受け止めております。

私たちの使命は、武道を通じて、今の日本、そして未来の日本の平和と安寧を支えることのできる人材を育成することにあります。そのために自ら汗を流し、日々研鑽を重ねていかなければならない――その決意をあらためて胸に刻む奉納演武となりました。

Once again this year, we were honored to present an enbu (demonstration of martial arts) as an offering at the Mitama Matsuri of Yasukuni Shrine.

With profound gratitude and heartfelt respect, we offered our demonstration before the spirits of the more than 2,466,000 men and women who gave their precious lives for the peace and security of Japan. It is both a great honor and a deeply humbling experience to be permitted to dedicate our martial art in their memory.

Our mission is to cultivate, through the practice of budo, individuals who will contribute to the peace and well-being of Japan today and for generations to come. This dedication performance renewed our determination to continue training diligently, devoting ourselves to this mission with sincerity and perseverance.

４月１８日土曜日、台東区リバーサイドスポーツセンターにて４９流派約３００人の会員のもと恒例の浅草古武道大会が開催されました。
演武者：近藤昌之・臼山秀遠・河野純一・味岡功磨・西村英明・藤原雅樹・香山由紀子・宗方美徳・ロマン アレクシブの９名で演武いたしました。

On Saturday, April 18th, the annual Asakusa Kobudo Tournament was held at the Taito Riverside Sports Center, with approximately 300 members from 49 different schools participating.

The nine performers were: Masayuki Kondo, Hideto Usuyama, Junichi Kono, Takuma Ajioka, Hideaki Nishimura, Masaki Fujiwara, Yukiko Kayama, Yoshinori Munakata, and Roman Alekseev.

３月１５日（日）東京都中央区スポーツセンター武道場にて国内合同稽古を開催いたしました。
例年、秋に開催しておりましたが今年から春開催に変更いたしました。
札幌・金沢・浦和・日本橋浜町・世田谷・両国・安田学園支部合同での稽古会になりました。
例年の合同稽古より短い時間ではありましたが、普段と違うメンバーでの稽古は新鮮で技の一つ一つが勉強になります。流す汗の輝きと道場に響く笑顔が印象的でした。

普段聞くことの出来ない総務長先生の講話が凛と響きます。
葛飾支部の吉澤前支部長に「合気柔術奥義（合気の術）」の巻物が授与されました。
誠におめでとうございます。更なる研鑽をお願いいたします。

On Sunday, March 15, a Domestic Joint Training Session was held at the Budō Hall of the Chuo City Sports Center in Tokyo.

In previous years this event had been held in autumn, but starting this year it has been moved to spring. The training session was conducted jointly by members from the Sapporo, Kanazawa, Urawa, Nihonbashi-Hamacho, Setagaya, Ryogoku, and Yasuda Gakuen branches.

Although the training time was shorter than in past years, practicing with members different from our usual partners brought a refreshing experience, and every technique became a valuable learning opportunity. The shining sweat of diligent practice and the smiles echoing through the dojo left a strong impression.

The lecture by Soumucho sensei, which we rarely have the opportunity to hear, resonated clearly and solemnly in the dojo.

During the session, the scroll of “Aiki Jujutsu Okugi (Aiki no jyutu)” was awarded to Mr. Yoshizawa, former head of the Katsushika Branch.
