Masayuki Kondo was born in 1952 as a younger brother of Katsuyuki Kondo, the general manager of Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu. He learned a basic of Budo from Katsuyuki and the second oldest brother Takayuki as their training parter since he was little.

In 1969, Masayuki got training directly from Tokimune Takeda sensei, the Headmaster. As an apprentice of Tokimune sensei, Masayuki learned under great teachers, tutelage, such as Yukiyoshi Sagawa sensei, Kodo Horikawa sensei, Takuma Hisa sensei, Kakuyoshi Yamamoto sensei, Kissyomaru Ueshiba sensei, Gozo Shioda sensei, Kenji Tomiki sensei, and Minoru Mochiduki sensei. Masayuki got training by Katsuyuki Kondo after Tokimune sensei passed away. Also, Tokimune Takeda sensei instructed Masayuki that Itto-ryu and Jikishinkage-ryu are necessary for Daito-ryu, so he learned Ono-ha Itto-ryu, Shinmuso Hayashizaki-ryu, Chokugen-ryu Naginata from the Headmaster Junzo Sasamori sensei, later from Hiroyuki Ohishi sensei and Hajime Miyauchi sensei. Also, Jikishinkage-ryu from Sogen Omori sensei.

During university, Masayuki learned Aikido from Sadateru Arikawa sensei as well.

In August of 2020, Masayuki was inaugurated as the HQ.
